As an international secondary school offering iGCSE and IB programmes, we occupy award winning buildings in the Western district of Hong Kong. Teacher of Science


We are seeking to appoint a full-time science teacher for the start of the school year in August 2018. The position will be a two year renewable contract.

Science is a popular subject within the school. The majority of our learners will take individual sciences at iGCSE and we typically have ten IB Higher classes. .

The popularity of the subject is matched by the success of our students. Many graduates will continue to major in related disciplines in the world’s highest ranked universities and we have a well-defined pathway to medicine and health related higher education courses.

From August 2018, we enter our candidacy year for MYP. We are therefore looking for a teacher who has knowledge and experience that will help us create and grow excellent inquiry based learning.

There is also an opportunity to teach IBDP Biology, Chemistry or Physics. Please outline your experience and suitability for teaching in any of these programmes.


Bachelor Degree in Education, or Bachelor Degree in any subjects with PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate of Education), or equivalent

2-4 years teaching experience within a recognised educational organisation

Knowledge of teaching MYP and DP Science is preferred, however, we will consider applications from candidates with experience of equivalent programmes.

Above all, you will be an excellent teacher and/or leader who shows a willingness to contribute to and learn from the rest of your team. You will have experience of contributing to curriculum change and be willing to explore and embrace the philosophy of our programmes.
