King George V School is an inclusive Y7-Y13 Secondary School in Homantin, Kowloon with 1800 students from many different nationalities. The school is part of the English Schools Foundation. Teacher of Chinese (20 Apr - 24 Jun 2020)

Required for 20th April 2020 through to 24th June 2020 - an enthusiastic and well-qualified full-time Chinese teacher who will preferably have experience of teaching MYP / IGCSE and IBDP. The successful candidate could be teaching across the age and ability range and should have the depth of subject knowledge to offer this.

The successful candidate will show a willingness to contribute fully to a strong team in a dynamic and highly successful department. The planning of lessons using established units of work and sharing of innovative teaching ideas to inspire students will be expected. The successful candidate will also contribute to the extra-curricular and pastoral life of the School and this is essential.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Education, or
Bachelor Degree in any subjects with PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate of Education), or equivalent

1-3 years teaching experience within a recognised educational organisation is preferred
