Educational Assistant

Sha Tin College is seeking to appoint an Educational Assistant to support students with learning difficulties and special needs across a wide range of subjects. EA’s primary duty is to help students access the curriculum. It is performed mainly through direct support to students in classroom and, where appropriate, through assistance in resource development and management as a small part of his or her overall responsibilities.


Applicants should be fluent English speakers, have good general communication skills, be
able to work successfully as a member of a team and be enthusiastic about working with students.
Appropriate qualifications and previous experience of working with students who have special needs in an educational setting would be an advantage. Familiarity with online learning platforms and a range of educational software packages (or ICT Literacy) is desirable.

The position will start in August 2020.
